Community groups

Energy Solutions carries out much of its work with community groups in North West London - giving presentations, attending community events with information, working with groups who have building projects to ensure they are as energy efficient as possible. Energy Solutions also takes stalls to local festivals, supermarkets and shopping centres to give advice and distribute low energy lightbulbs to qualifying households.


Local authorities

Energy Solutions also works closely with local authorities, particularly Brent and Harrow, to improve energy performance in council buildings, increase staff energy awareness and generally advance the environmental agenda. Energy Solutions has been involved in the preparation of Brent's new Supplementary Planning Guidance on Sustainable Design and Construction as well as a 'Greening your Home' guide. Energy audits of council buildings and other work with Facilities Managers can help reduce energy bills and meet CO2 reduction targets. We are currently working with the council to help them fulfill their obligations to provide Domestic Energy Certificates in all public buildings in Brent over 1000m2


Social housing

Energy Solutions works with Housing Associations and local authority housing departments to improve the energy efficiency of social housing, access funding through the utilities' Energy Efficiency Commitment and help develop housing improvement strategies which provide the most cost effective routes to better energy ratings.
